Google Rumblings

http://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/?p=3026

So there have been quite a rew reports and rumors recently about Google. The company insisted at its latest Press Day that its primary focus was and always will be search. But I think that remains to be seen. The biggest rumors seem to be circling around the Google Wireless ventures...

From the device they're putting together with Nokia, to their registration at the upcoming FCC auction for television bandwidth, Google really seems to be trying to go somewhere with wireless.

Definitely read the article linked to above. It's very interesting. When you consider the fact that it's already possible to send live, streaming video over airwaves as TV signals (and that it's been done for decades), it makes sense that Internet companies are interested in this bandwidth.

All I can say at this point is be ready...something big is going to be happening within the next 3-5 years...I just hope I'm looking forward to it... :-)
