The Itinerary is Set!

Have you ever stopped to notice what a cool word "itinerary" is? It just sounds official and like you're part of some covert secret plan. Or a road trip to Canada. One of the two.

Regardless, I come to you again bringing the final details of our trip North. We are leaving immediately after work today en route to Hartford, Connecticut (I did not take that picture).

Then we travel to Portland, Maine (this one either) because Shelsy wants to try authentic Maine lobster. Several of the restaurants we looked up said that you can expect the lobster to have been caught mere hours earlier. I'm not a huge fan, myself, but I'll try some other Maine food, perhaps. :-)

From there, it's off to Moncton, Canada (or this one) for the wedding. We are very much looking forward to it, to say the least. :-)

After that, we begin the journey home. But along the way, we're stopping in Boston, Massachusetts (nope). The city offers a free, downloadable audio tour of the historic district called the Freedom Trail. You get the MP3 files from their website, put them into your music player, print out the PDF map, and play the specified tracks when you get to various historical sites. Very cool, if you ask me.

We'll be back at work and real life on Tuesday, July 3. All in all, it promises to be a fun roadtrip!
