In an exciting announcement, Google has teemed up with the University of California to digitize and index their extensive library. This is part of their Google Book Search project, which has been gaining ground steadily for sometime now. Most people don't even know the project exists. Hopefully, this will be the start of many partnerships.

I, for one, am very excited to see the world's libraries digitized and made searchable. Free and open information is the way to go!
