Nintendo is rumored to be preparing to release the Wii sooner than anticipated. Everyone expected it to be released in time with Sony's PS3 release in November, but reports by CNN suggest that it could be here as early as September. This would give it a nice jump on the PS3 and prepare it to better handle demand for the Christmas shopping season.
And it's still expected to be under $250. :-)
Nintendo, however, has flatly denied the rumors. But we've heard denials before. Do you believe it? We'll see...
