Internet Traffic Jam

This is truely fascinating. I strongly urge you all to read this article. It's full of technical jargon that you may not understand, but read it anyway...you'll get the gist of it. It's really interesting. :-)

In essence, it describes how the Internet may soon be out of room. There are a finite number of IP addresses and we're filling them up. So, slightly similar to the way many of us now have to dial the area code along with the regular seven digit phone numbers, IP addresses will soon be longer.

But that's not the only thing the change will do...it'll allow for faster, more customizable use of how the traffic flows. It's complicated, but very interesting. Read the article, you'll get it. :-)
