Internet Explorer 7

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/04/25/AR2006042501910.html

It's finally here. Microsoft's been talking about IE7 for quite some time and now we have a donwoladable beta on their site. The final version won't be out for many months, but for now, users can try this.

Microsoft is releasing IE7 in a direct response to their rapidly dropping market share. Over 10% of the market is now held by Firefox (download here) and Microsoft is a little worried.

So I'm downloading it now...I wanna give it a try and see how it compares to my beloved Firefox. I'll report back and let you all know...'cause I know you're just dying to find out what I think. :-)

UPDATE: ...I'm not very impressed. :-( It still has lots of the same problems that plagued previous IE versions and it really feels like the exact same browser except with tabs....
