Geek Graffiti,70552-0.html?tw=wn_index_2

I could have posted about the new Samsung mobile phone today...or the Google wireless network in San Francisco, but I decided to address something that a wider range of my miniscule readerbase might find interesting: Geek Graffiti.

In an effort to get around anti-graffiti efforts by city officials, people have turned to geekier methods of street-art. This article describes what are called LED Throwies...tiny, inexpensive LED lights that stick to metal sculptures, creating a very artistic "graffiti" like look at night.

I, for one, think this is cool. Does it cross the line of vandalism? I don't know...someone has to clean them up, but they sure look cool and are super-easy to clean...way easier than paint.

What do you folks think?

  1. I'm glad you liked the story. I had a good time writing it too. If you want some more pictures, feel free to check out my blog.

I'm interested in seeing where Geek Graffiti goes in the future.

  2. Wow... that is pretty shwang... I like it!
